North Dakota State Aviation Economic Impact Study

The 2025 North Dakota Aviation Economic Impact Study (NDAEIS) documents the economic contributions of each individual airport and the combined economic impact of the state’s 89 public-use airports. This study conveys the airport system’s role as a driver for economic and social benefits for residents, visitors, businesses, and industries. Anticipated Publish Spring 2026.

North Dakota State Aviation System Plan

The 2025 North Dakota State Aviation System Plan (NDSASP) is used by the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission (NDAC) as a guide for future decision making. The study will identify system needs and changes since the last study and will provide recommendations to preserve and enhance the state’s 89 public-use airports. Anticipated Publish Spring 2026.

Terminal Roadway Planning Study

The Terminal Roadway Planning Study for Minot International Airport (MOT) addresses the current challenges and inefficiencies in the terminal roadway and parking lot configurations. Published July 14, 2025.
